In the few South East Asia airports I frequent, up until a few years ago pax to India almost always had at least one check-in flat screen TV. You'd see dozens upon dozens of them lined up at the oversized baggage counters. I'd hazard a guess these TV's 'usually' arrive safely.

Think that practice has dropped a bit since the Indian government started levying duties though.
