Seems to me that inevitably it will get laid flat somewhere along the line and another bag thrown on top of it. Awfully risky, IMO.

Have you checked customs regulations? If the EU doesn't have the right trade agreement with Brazil then you could get tagged.

Also, not sure the EU prices, but you can get a 32"TV in the US or on Amazon for barely over $100. I wonder if it's worth the effort and risk.
