It should be an airline that doesn't transfer easily from the Other Big 3 (UR, MR, TYP). So that essentially removes KrisFlyer and Virgin eventhough I love the redemptions.
It's a toss up between American and Alaska for me.
I'd probably go Alaska, if I were you. AA's on the verge of putting their program through the shredder by the end of 2016.
