would airport security let you carry a Kirpan?
given that it's a religious object of the Sikh faith, would a confiscation of it constitute a challenge to religious freedoms?
I know that it caused a bit of stink in Vancouver recently over a Sikh kid wanting to wear one to school. The school board finally had to let him wear it after a court challenge.
Yes, it could technically be called a knife, but seriously, i've heard that no Sikh would ever actually use it.
