While by no means luxurious, the Radisson Hotel Los Angeles Westside fits the bill for quiet relaxation. The hotel provides complimentary airport transportation. The Radisson is located about 10-15 minutes away in Culver City. It is across the street from shopping, restaurants, and the cinema at the Hughes Center. The rooms are par for the Radisson course and the staff is OK, better than the average LAX hotel. I find prices to be a little higher (usually $99-119, compared to extensive discounting offered by the large chain hotels on Century Blvd.). The hotel has a decent pool/fitness area. All in all, I would compare it to an upscale Holiday Inn or a lower end Sheraton.
