On our holiday trip to SFO we will have a 8 hour layover in SEA.

As a Student pilot I always wanted to visit the Boeing Future of Flight tour in Everett.

We will arrive at SEA around 11:30am.
As we both have Global Entry, immigration should not be a problem.
We would have plenty of time to get a rental car and drive to Everett.

WeŽd go for the 3pm tour, which lasts around 90 minutes and have then get back to SEA. Our flight to SFO will depart at 8:05pm.

Will it (usually) work out to get from Everett back to SEA in max 2 hours during busy traffic hours 5pm - 7pm?

Has anyone done this visit in this short time?
Would it be better to go on the I-405 or the I-5?
