You honestly think that the police will care of BA ring them up and say Mr. X has tried to place a claim for miles on the site that breaks the EC rules, please go lock him up? You live in a very different world to the rest of reality.
I have no idea whether the police/CPS or BA would be interested in taking someone to court. Best would be not to commit the offence to start with and have to cross your fingers for inaction by police/CPS or BA.
Why don't you try it and let's see what happens?
It is bizarre that you think committing a clear criminal offence is some how ok based on your belief that you would be unlikely to be prosecuted. Any other law you wish to suggest people break?
