As to the thread title, given the evolving rumors at AA with what appears to be fair certainty they will not be requiring a minimum spend for status, it would be rather silly for a UA free of the Smisek/Rainey/Keay "Axis of Evil" to increase MP spend requirements at all.
So cut out the minimum spend; minimum coach fair class and half the GPUs/SWUs as AA is suppose to be doing?
I do think it would be nice if your spend was say $15,000 regardless of miles that you get another pair of GPUs.
With that being said I wonder how AA will be awarding the extras SWUs for additional spend.
