I always have other cards on me in case something gets declined, but then again that's because I'm used to UK banks that decline transactions a lot. I had horrible experiences with HSBC in the UK declining pretty much 1 in 4 transactions and I had to call them to let them know it was me and this is was with Chip and Pin.

Fraud reps can be weird. When I double apped with Capital One they wanted to call me back on the number I had used to call them.
