Thanks for the reply, cactuspete. We'll be in Trinidad since the AA flight from MIA arrives late and leaves early, forcing overnights coming and going. We are spending the remainder of the time in Tobago. We have no accommodations reserved at this time. I know Hilton is on both islands. For the most part it seems we'll be getting down and dirty, which means staying in rock-bottom places around Tobago. This is the type of adventure we like. But, I still want to be as informed as possible in advance. There is very little info available about Tobago, since it is somewhat off the beaten path. Has anyone on this board been there?
