For the real world and I bet for most people who travel 2k a month on CC is not easy.
CC spend includes everything - utilities, insurance, food, gas, travel, rent, etc. But there is Manufactured Spending as well - and there are a lot of poor 21 years olds that can get the spend with MS as well as meet the minimum spend for credit card sign up bonus.
You do not have to be rich to meet these, you just have to play the game. When Target Red card was active - many here were spending $5K per month with one Red card and some $20-30K a month with multiple cards.
I know of a poor college student - spending $100K per month on CC via MS.
