The FamilyTours has a reservation at the Diplomat for 11/19-11/22. Recent TripAdvisor reviews mention massive, noisy construction by pool. I called front desk, but the person was totally clueless, first stating that construction was not starting until December. When I said I was reading complaints about the noise now, she put me on hold, then came back and said construction was going on now and would continue until Xmas. She couldn't say anything about noise, if the pool was closed, what rooms would be affected by noise, etc.

So, has anyone been there in the last couple of weeks? If so, what can you say about the contruction's noise level and impact on your experience?
