LC USC, give Daikokuya the exchange shot next time.
I've been able to not have to exchange funds @ my arrival airport in Tokyo the last two times. The six Daikokuya shops near where you may stay are

In Shinjuku, 2-8-5 Yoyogi Shibuya-ku
In Shinbashi, 2-16-1 Shinbashi Minato-ku New Shinbashi building 1F room 114.
In Shibuya, 23-11 Udagawacho Shibuya-ku RI Em building 2F
Near Tokyo station, 1-6-19 Yaesu Chuo-ku second Bill Oguro 1F
In Ueno, 4-2-2 Ueno Taito-ku
and in central Yokohama, 1-2-3 Minamisaiwai Nishi-ku Yokohama-shi Kanagawa-ken Kioritz building 2F

I perceive Daikokuya has the best exchange rate of them all.
