Re due diligence: No, not really for cashback sites. There are so many negative reviews in general for cashback sites so I usually give all of them equal chance.
But thanks for sharing your experience of cashbackcat not paying out. I'll not put more purchases through them until I see what happens with my balances which are still pending (still within normal/expected time schedule).

The payout that I requested in March is still "awaiting approval". They ignore support requests, emails, and phone calls. They have a BBB rating of F with 6 recent complaints that were ignored. I left my review on multiple websites so you can't miss it. There used to be a bunch of complaints on their Facebook page but apparently John Freeland (president) was able to get them removed. Just shows how trustworthy Facebook is. FT should remove this thread.
