Not sure if that is covered in the terms, but I doubt DL would have an issue with it. You can use the points as a XMAS gift for your employees, I don't think giving the use to the top charity donater is a violation or one you would get slammed on
Giving as a gift is fine. However here they're bidding for the item. An auction is still a sale.
