I would assume that the company is saying whoever wins the auction will receive 500k points worth of redemption "stuff", which they can choose off the SB redemption menu.
Howeveras noted above, AFAIK these can't be sold/bartered and thus it's a violation of the rules. I'm betting it never crossed someone's mind that it can't be sold.
