Anyone got one? Anything to watch out for? They look pretty good.

They have been released in the UK today.

To coincide, Samsung opened a new store in my local mall (Trafford Centre). I went there about 11am to have a look at the S2 Classic, with a view to purchasing one if I liked it.

An assistant approached me and asked if I need help.

Me - "Hi, do you have any of the S2 Classic's in stock?"
Him (looking confused) - "Errr... sorry?"
Me - "The new S2 Classic watch, do you have any?"
Him - "Errr.... I don't know, I'll go and check"

He disappeared off and returned a couple of minutes later.

Him - "Sorry, none were delivered, they should be here tomorrow or Saturday".

Great...

They did have a standard (non-classic) S2 on show, so I tried to play with that. Unfortunately, it had just been plonked on display, and not set up. So, all I got was a screen asking me to follow the setup process before use.

Double Great...

The place was a Carphone Warehouse until last week, and all the display tickets are on CW backgrounds, so I assume they're just running the shop for Samsung. I guess they've just transferred some staff without any training.

The classic was also showing as out-of-stock on the Samsung UK site until about 18:00 today. Now in stock, so hopefully that means they'll have arrived in the stores also tomorrow.
