I take your point about 1A and 1C, but 2D and 2F are excellent for passengers, the longest shorthaul knee room outside the E190 and the exit rows on A321 (typically ET). If the flight isn't too full I've seen cabin crew invite people in 1A and 1c to move to other seats, though I did see someone in 1A who was very tall (over 2 metres tall I would say) and very grateful to move over to 1C. The staff can run the curtain on the starboard side alone, though it must be a be cramped in there I guess.

I don't mind these jets, at least every row has an airvent, it's not Delta Kilo, ex BMI early converts, nor a cramped A319. These are better aircraft than some of LGW's fleet! By IFE you mean the moving map, which I do miss, but I can use Android apps to do something similar.
