I wonder if there is some truth to this guess that it is a UA IT problem. For the last 2 international US-bound flights that I have flown on UA metal, I have received SSSS. First one was GDL-IAH and the second LHR-SFO.

I have GE, am UA Plat and have never missed Pre-check on domestic flights or on outbound international flights since getting GE. In between these two instances of being SSSS'd on UA metal, I flew DEL-MUC-SFO on LH and was able to do OLCI no problem. Granted that these are not too many data points.

What's really odd is that my wife also got SSSS'd on the LHR-SFO flight and she has GE as well, although no status on UA.

Have other GE members been experiencing SSSS on inbound international UA metal flights but not on other carriers?
