No sure what the width of the A350 is, but I have just come back on the A380 with 10 abreast and none of the family had an issue with the seat width or leg room for economy travel. I would just argue for better seat padding for comfort. IFE was very good but I was not fond of the remote as the sensitivity was very poor. The food was exceptional and very filling and service could not be faulted.
The two cabin widths are significantly different - the A380 lower deck seats 10 abreast at the same seat width that the A350 seats 9 abreast.
