Chef Patrick Lenhardt, who joined the restaurant after a stint at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, has created a menu featuring oysters, crab soup, rockfish, steak frites and buttermilk chicken and waffles. The restaurant also will offer a lineup of flatbreads baked in a stone oven and locally sourced items such as Taharka Brothers ice cream from Baltimore and pastrami from Washington, D.C.’s Stachowski's Market.

Over the past year the hotel has completed a renovation of its rooms, lobby, lounge and meeting spaces to create a more modern look."

Cheers.
This hotel, as you say, has had a complete renovation. It is not totally finished but, for the most part, is. It has gone from a hotel that had a warm feeling to a sleek modern hotel. The floors in the rooms ( at least in my room) are not carpeted. They have what looks like an engineered type. The colors are all white and pale greenish white with some white wallpaper. Rooms have a beige wallpaper with one wall having an abstract tree beige paper. Floors off the escalator are whitish, I think, tile. Walls have no pictures, at least not yet. Walls are wallpapered with some shade of white. Halls are carpeted with green background and abstract trees.

They didn't add a new restaurant. They replaced the restaurant, Agio, with Coopers Mill which is a farm to table type. I was disappointed to see Agio gone. It was always a restaurant in which I looked forward to eating. Tomorrow night we'll be eating there so I'll save any judgment until then.

Mr b1513 loves the new look. I'd prefer the previous look and feel. I think I just have to get used to it. Staff is still very good. The lounge looks the same to me. It might have gotten some new furniture but I'm not positive. The hostess in the lounge has been there for a long time and is very accommodating.

I've been coming to this hotel for years and really like it.
