Yet DL puts more seats onto the A330-300 (293) than its 777s (291). Perhaps it's because the 747 is on the way out. And although I'm usually a Boeing over Airbus guy, there's something incredibly graceful about watching an A330 climb into the sky.
That is because the 777 has a higher ratio of J seats than the 330. The A330's aren't really utilized on high yield routes. Even the 76L and 764 are equipped with a higher ratio of J seats than the 330.
