Extremely difficult to get in January, but not impossible if you can book a long way out. Aeroplan can get you there via LAX, SFO (united) or YVR.

American Airlines can get you there via LAX and Qantas but is harder to redeem for premium classes. Economy isn't too bad usually for availability. I think Avios works out a worse deal on that long a trip.

Also consider a redemption to Hawaii on Aircan Rouge (ug, pay for the seat upgrade) direct, then on Hawaiian on American points (70K I think, same as from LAX). This is a lot more points but will be cheap and is an easier trip to make in my perspective - 2 10 hour trips instead of 1 24 / 26 hour one.
