Funny you mention HKG, OP. I wasted 15 minutes trying to find the Plaza Premium Lounge there back in March. In fact, I went to two wrong entrances to it. Thankfully with iPhones and the like it's gotten easier as you can use the airline App to find out what gates lounges are near but it still can be difficult.
