Why do you want to change the seat? Outside of an exit row, is there a big different to which window seat you receive?

Given that the rules prohibit changing for free (even if it is unreasonable, you agreed to the rules), I can only see that you have a real argument if there was an equipment change. Otherwise HUCA and see if you can plead your case to a friendlier agent.
