Was to have travelled with a colleague who did not take the precaution of a positioning flight and was puzzled as to why denied boarding when he tried to join the flight at LHR. Cabin crew on flight out to BRU dumbstruck to find me returning on the same plane BRU-LHR - hand luggage only.
Best abiding memory of Concorde was at JFK where the sight of many DYKWIA's jockying for position in the immigration queue remains with me to this day!
