My normal source of information for European trains, the Deutsche Bahn website ( www.bahn.de ), seems to lack info on this route.

But Rick Steves' "Italy 2002" guidebook says (page 188) that there are about two trains per hour from Florence to Pisa, and the journey takes about an hour.
