Two one way awards: question about skipping the last leg

Hello everyone,

I am going on a cruise next summer, and booked two one way awards on TK using Aeroplan miles. Initially, I chose a cruise that departed from Rome, so I booked a flight that connects through IST at 45k miles. My return flight begins in Eastern Europe, and connects through IST for the long haul back to the US on TK for 52.5k miles. I recently changed my cruise to one that begins in IST instead of FCO. I was going to call and simply drop the IST to FCO leg of my first one way award, and then I realized that I will not only have to pay a change fee, but I will also have to kick in an extra 7.5k miles.

If I simply don't board the last leg of the first one-way, do I have anything to worry about? I know for sure if it were a round-trip they would cancel my return trip, however I am curious whether I should be concerned about them cancelling my second one-way given both trips are booked through Aeroplan? Can anyone weigh in?
