As for the contracted lounge attendants who became "emboldened" by the their perceived power to call the police, I hope they're replaced. If they can't talk down a situation (even if it's in accordance to the policy they thought they knew), and instead always just fall back to threats of punitive action, then maybe they shouldn't be in a customer-facing position.
