Rule is the same as has been for years:
Only Gold and higher can select row 1 in F and cannot allocate anyone unless they are also Gold or higher. Unlike row 1 in CE/CW which only Gold and subsequent guest (same PNR, different PNR same cabin) can be seated in on their request.

Congrats on the redemption. It does appear as if availability has gotten better.
