Highest speeds?
Yes, you can't have "Mach 1 ground speed". It's purely a Mach number, no other annotation is needed. If you are talking about speed relative to anything other than the medium in which the object is travelling you can't use Mach. It's like trying to measure the area of your back garden in Celsius.
