I wonder if any of you have been to Don Muang International Bangkok (BKK)?

1) The restrooms stick of something worse than regurgitation, rather of people shooting up...

2) There is ONE runway, and in the monsoon season, take-offs are SCARY (I did a QF B747-400 from BKK-SYD - continuation of QF 002 LHR-BKK-SYD - once and take-off was scary...cleared a golf course by about 100 ft. If some guy had hit anything shorter than a 7 iron, there would have been trouble...

3) It just feels old, it's dirty and it's smelly

Bangkok deserves a better airport.

HKG is good, perhaps too big?

Don't even think about LHR at 10am on weekday morning in Terminal 3...when I left Heathrow that day, it was crazy...(back in 1996, QF still left from T3)

To put it bluntly LHR in summer should be avoided, shopping is good, as is the plane watching

LAX customs clearance for non-American citizens at 11am is just...well BAD! cos of all the trans-pacific flights that arrive at that time.

So in short, worst:

BKK
LHR
LAX
