Keeping Citigold
Has anyone here actually kept Citigold and moved to Citi as their primary checking account? I called the Citi Wealth Management Number and confirmed a couple of things according to the CSR:
1) With Citigold, your annual minimum activity fee is waived for the brokerage account.
2) With Citigold, your annual account fee is waived.
3) They can do an in-kind transfer from vanguard to citibank for free.
So I was thinking I'd in-kind transfer Vanguard IRA ETFs to Citibank IRA to maintain the 50K balance. This would be fee free. Then I'd be able to keep Citigold for a while as well and get the sign up bonus. Has anyone done this?
