Responses on this thread are what keep me coming back to FT.

Complete guess from memory...it was about 50% crown and 50% $ in FC. Slightly heavier on the crown in C+. This was a flight between ATL and LGA on a weekday, though I honestly can't remember which direction or exactly what day (would not have been midweek).

P = Preferred seat (aisle/window near the front of main cabin)
I'm assuming the Red Coat was viewing a seat map with these same symbols that are shown at gate/ticket counter computers.
There are also symbols for passengers who are arriving from a connecting flight (optional), on a through flight (optional), have a wheelchair request, pet-in-cabin, service animal, etc.
Now that you mention it, I do think I saw some symbol or perhaps a "WC" that I thought at the time indicated wheelchair.
However, are you sure about the Crown representation? If true, then the entire FC cabin should have been a crown. On the screen I saw, I'm relatively sure there were some crowns, some $ signs.
I'm going to see if I can swing by a Burger King before my next flight so I can bring my own crown on board.
