This is a Delta forum and if the Delta rules seem confusing a simple work
around that is buy a ticket on another carrier American; United - Alaska
and use their perhaps more liberal rules if that. TSA needs only to know
that you are a ticketed passenger if the courtesy gate pass can not be obtained.
