Thus the challenge and the request if anyone knows an Anglophile forum.

Ideally what I think I'm looking for now is someone in Japan, who is fully bilingual (it's the colloquialisms that do not translate well, for example in the UK these are known as travel mugs...whereas in Japan it appears to be tumbler), who is active on social media and may be able to start a 'Help a Foreigner' type thread.....
