Hard product comfort comes first for me.

Just flew SQ326 77WN SIN-FRA to test the new seats. More than 13 hours in one flight was enough to test.

Overall I am very disappointed in the hard product comfort. In bed mode it use to have more cushion to soften the bed comfort. The cushion is only assured by a 2cm thick mattress before you hit the hard piece making the seat back. I don't remember this on the old seat being so hard. When you sleep on the side, your arm needs to find enough softness in the mattress for comfort and for your spine to be horizontal.

Besides the crew was not attentive and not very smiling or engaging (very strange).

Overall I still give Qatar new 787 and 380 hard product offerings my best votes especially with the constant smiles and anytime/extensive meal offerings.

By the way I tested the premium economy seat as well: very good comfort, nice leather. I also tested the new first class seat: no more ottoman for face to face dining, low rise partition not appealing for privacy, really not much more appeal than business class, except seat comfort.
