Have to be in PNH at the beginning of January next year and currently looking into flight options with some flexibility as long as it is Y/ Y+ (if at comparable price to flex Y).

Not too fussed about taking the most direct route and always looking to maximize miles and squeeze in some long daytime layovers in fun cities in Asia. My main mileage program is AAdvantage and with the qualification year just beginning i'm keen to accumulate some miles. I currently hold AAdvantage platinum (Oneworld Saphire) and AZ Freccia Alata (Skyteam Elite +)- status match not my main mileage program.

Current flight options are:

QR: LHR-DOH-SGN-PNH-SGN-DOH-LHR in Y ok timings, ok price, A380 service LHR-DOH, but x0.75 and x0.5 mileage accumulation with AA on the fares I would be flying

BA: LHR-BKK-PNH-KUL-LHR in Y, ok timings and a potential evening in KUL at the end of the trip as well as 100% earning on AA, bit more expensive and Y in the back of the 787 could be a bit of a squeeze

VN: LHR-SGN-PNH-SGN-LHR in Y+ on the way out Y on the way back, good timing, good price, but in a mileage scheme i'm not that involved with and the least "interestign" option.

Or other possibilities. Just interest in what other readers would pick bearing in mind that none of the options are that great between LHR and PNH.
