If you spend much time on this thread, you'll find an unusually high number of AS elites (including my wife and I) that earn their status via 100% personal travel....yes, even certain 75K folks which I'll avoid naming
My point is, if you enjoy traveling, especially on AS, I would plan to earn at least MVP since it's relatively easy to attain and it makes the mileage runs/mini-vacations far more comfortable.
