Going to Singaopre, have always taken the red eye except once, contrary to many FT'ers who do SIN mileage runs on UA. The BR, SQ, CX red eyes with roughly midnight to 1am departures from the West coast will arrive SIN noonish. I do sleep, albeit not well, in flight so after arrival, its not too bad to stay up until 10-11pm or so, sleep, and wake up about 7am, if I'm lucky, (maybe 5 to 6am if not) the next day pretty much in tune with local time for work.

The one time I didn't, arrived around midnight, get to the hotel room round about 1am, must shower after the long flight, and naturally then unable to sleep, and take several days to get over the jet lag.
