My husband lived in Kuwait for 2 years (he was the military attaché at the U.S. Embassy and a fighter pilot for 20+ years). He says, "Good planes, good pilots, good maintenance, and Kuwaitis are demanding people who wouldn't put up with bad service." He also commented that all the Kuwaitis have Asian domestic help and fly them back and forth in regular economy (1 month "leave" every 2 years). If you fly bizclass, should be OK, but economy can be very crowded and kind of a herd in boarding the aircraft.
I certainly don't intend any offense in making these comments, I'm merely quoting the "old Marine." I've read somewhere that Kuwait Air also has a good fare NYC-LON.
