Bet this will be the last time they offer such a generous promotion like this. No good deed goes unpunished.

That being said, as a Discover customer, if I had bought a non-gift card purchase using Discover with Apple pay and they accused me of buying a gift card, I'd be pretty pissed if I had to send in a receipt to prove my innocence.
