I'm glad to hear you liked it^ I feel much the same way. I find the service very thoughtful and pleasant, even if it can be inflexible. Often in Japan, and particularly outside of Tokyo, hotel staff just don't understand the kind of flexibilty that is expected by western luxury hotel standards. They often have the best of intentions, but flexibility just does not come naturally to them. So, I just enjoy the hotel for what it is and avoid making any special requests.
