Doing the same comparison for A320, AY probably has better pitch than Airbus' suggested HD config. Airbus suggests A320 with 28/29" pitch and that yields 180 seats. AY config is 165 seats, ie 15 seats less. Some of that might be converted to better pitch.

For A319, Airbus suggests a 28/30" pitch config and that yields 156 seats. AY config has 138 seats (i.e. 18 seats less).
