Can it really be 33"?!
Airbus has a suggested config called "Single class high density" which is 220 seats. In that config the cabin has pitch 28" and 29" in a few rows.
AY's version holds 209 seats, so only slightly less than suggested high density config. Sure, it has "only" 9 rows between door 1 and 2 where the high density has 10 rows, but AY also installed cupboards in this section. I'd say cupboards has taken the space of those 11 seats "missing" from Airbus' suggested config.

My guess is that AY has 28/29" pitch, so only slightly better pitch in row 1-8. But anyone with a measure can easily check.
