Hey all, taking a trip to Spain in early Jan. Starting in Barcelona, taking the train to Madrid where we'll spend a few days, then renting a car and hitting some towns/cities south of Madrid.

We will be heading back to the city the night before our flight out...so we could return the car in the city (and save time when picking it up at the beginning) that night....

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience at the Avis Gran Via location? Is it going to be a headache because it's in the middle of the city, should I bite the bullet and just rent from Barajas?

Thanks for the advice in advance...Not very familiar with Avis overseas, only have used it in Ireland in and out of DUB.
