And anyways, I have no reasons to do anything illegal or overstay/immigrate illegally. The ticket is just a formality for the visa application, but it needs to be confirmed. It per se doesn't tell about one's intentions. It is very easy to get. I could very well buy a nonrefundable ticket this very moment if I wanted, and use the same for the trip once I get the visa.
