What I meant by near my CL many months, they would always be paid down by the end of the month. But I did close to max them out each month. Stopped going over 1x some months back. I think it was triggered though by a recent application for a BA card. A couple of days after that is when I got the axe. I was approved for the card but with a really low CL.
How many cards and how much total CL you had with Chase before the BA app?
That may yet be another data point to show actively manage one's total CL is critical despite one poster kept insisting it was irrelevant. We haven't heard from him on this for a couple months now.
