My parents just called from ORD and said they were being evacuated. They were in T3. Anyone else have any additional information?

I heard they were re-screening H and K because of, yes, yet another unplugged metal detector. Why they can't address this problem I do not understand. I think I've heard about this problem at three different airports in the last 24 hours.

Why do they evacuate? It's the ultimate absurdity.
