It is interesting to note, however, that nowhere is it mentioned that those tickets would be offered with stipulations - no mileage accrual. Certainly this could not have been the intent of the DOT in finding AA guilty of engaging in an 'unfair and deceptive trade practice' by canceling those held tickets.
And... had to chuckle at the 'evidence' presented - the quotes. I guess what needs to happen in the future is that only 'great' fares or 'phenomenal fare sales' are shared.
